Great Mediterranean food in OKC. We ordered a wide variety: falafel, chicken and beef kabob, saffron rice, cilantro rice, tzatziki, and something that reminds me of ground meat on a stick (sorry about that). It was all wonderful. The spices were forward, the kabob and falafel perfectly cooked, the rice (get the 1/2 and 1/2) was very good. It is bright, friendly and they serve amazing food.

Very yummy family owned business. I really enjoy coming here! The staff is super friendly and the food is great! Love the 1/2 and 1/2 rice, hummus and gyros!

I'm always searching for good Mediterranean food in OKC, and this place satisfied. It was definitely authentic. The Combo Platter appetizer was a really good variety and quite tasty. Thought the tabouli was one of the better I've had in the area. Would go back.

This place is so clean!!! The health department eats here 2-3x per week. That should tell you something! Good food, prices and service. The employee (Pam) that greeted me had me thinking she was one of the owners. She had so much pride in this place.

The food was made to order and the tenderloin was so very tender and well seasoned. The grilled vegetables are amazing. I sampled both choices of the rice which were Jasmine and Dill. I was more partial to the dill rice. Service was friendly and very helpful in offering suggestions. So, if you decide to try this place and are not sure what to order, ask. Very clean establishment Will definitely return. Review originally written June 2013

Absolutely love their French fries as well as their Gyros!!!! Great place for a lunch date.

If amazballs was appropriate, I would use that word to see crime their gyros! The meat in the gyro is really fresh and seasoned perfectly, pita is just so soft like a cloud, and the cucumber sauce has little slivers of cucumber in it! I only get the gyro with saffron rice or dill rice because it's that good. They do have lunch specials now, a gyro, fries or rice and a drink for $7.50ish. The only thing that would make this place better is if they stayed open a little later, they close at 8!

Finally, a meditaranian restaurant with quality food. We have been searching for a good Greek style place to eat and much of what we found prior to this restaurant has been sub par at best. But Meditaranian Grill is our new home for Greek quisine. I had the chicken kabob plate that came with a generous portion of nicely grilled onions, tomatoes and zucchini squash. And it was flavored well...needed a little salt, though. I love grilled veggies and this didn't diappoint. The environment was immaculately clean and superbly arranged so that you felt like there was plenty of space.

Pretty good food but their vegetarian combo was all fried items except the hummus and pita. It was listed as an appetizer, which is strange. Every other (20+) Mediterranean restaurants I've eaten at take their veggie combo seriously. Instead of a bunch of deep fried items, you get hummus, baba ghanoush, tabouli, some other salad, falafel and pita. Potions of hummus and sauce were small and they charged 50 cents for an extra cup of sauce. Nickle and diming customers makes me feel like the owners are either greedy or despise their customers, it was a tiny, tiny cup, not enough for the original dish. It's not a fancy place so the pricing and extra charge don't seem justified. Wouldn't eat here again.

Always fresh always yummy, services great, nice spot for a quick gyro for lunch, now that's all I've ever tried was the gyro with a Greek salad or French fries. The way you get your waters weird because you have to be precise the way the machine works the distance has to be just right. I like ice the small kind like little hell from the sky kind. Now the gyro meat is tender and always fresh which taste amazing the vegetables fresh everything is fresh the cucumber sauce is wonderful, the environment is clean great place to go for lunch. What's strange about this place it's ran by Caucasians. They do, do it right.

I always get the gyro special with french fries. This is my favorite Mediterranean restaurant in okc so far! Lamb is tender! Baba ghanoush and bread is awesome! You will taste that Baba ghanoush Dish for the rest of the day though ;)

Hot damn this place is delicious! It is incredibly far away from where I live but super close to OCCC, so when I take classes there, I will definitely be coming to eat here. The restaurant is very clean and small. You order your food at the counter and get your own drinks, etc. which is what I prefer sometimes, especially if I am in a hurry. I ordered the falafel sandwich with tzatziki and spicy tahini on the side and tabbouli. The sandwich was incredibly fresh and the falafel was delicious, perhaps some of my favorite. The tzatziki and spicy tahini were amazing and the tabbouli was perfect. My friend got a gyro and fries and her fries were amazing, couldn't tell you about the gyro though; she said it was really good. I will definitely be back to this restaurant when I'm on the south side!

Really good. The tabbouleh was excellent. Maybe the best I ever had.

At first I thought this was not a bad place however, the food - chicken shwarma - made me so ill I would never return. It was overcooked although the seasonings were good. I would guess they must use a spice which has MSG in the contents due to the reaction I had. I do which restaurants would post if they use that horrible stuff. I guess if you lived in an area where there are not good Mediterranean restaurants to enjoy this would be ok. I'd skip it.

Awesome food. Fresh, some hard to find dishes & great service. Value to food quality is 5 stars! I eat here almost weekly!

Great food. Terrible service though. Sat there eating and watched 4 people wait for 8 mins before someone asked them what they wanted to do. But the food is spot on.

Love the food! Very fresh, tasty, and filling. Local owned restaurants are a dying breed and I am happy to find this wonderful place! Prices are good but I think they can go higher for the lunch. I mean I got a gyro and a salad and drink under 8 bucks!!!! Go and eat REAL food here:)

Food was good - just no lunch menu makes dining here an expensive proposition. Everything about $2-3 more than it should be. I just stay on the north side...

Fantastic gyro, not at all greasy. Veggie skewers were fresh & perfectly grilled. Rice was good, pita & tatziki were fresh. Great lunch specials, friendly service. Highly recommend it.

I am Italian, so Mediterranean food is in my blood. I love the flavors of Middle Eastern food. This place is my favorite in the metro for a gyro. The pita is super soft and pillowy (I wish I knew how they make it that way). My husband loves their lentil stew. Their falafel is very good, it has a lot of curry type spices in it. Their dolma is actually sweet instead of the typical sour versions. It has spices in it as well as raisins. I have brought several people from out of town here because it is conveniently located to the highway and has offerings for both carnivores and vegetarians/vegans alike. Their prices are a bit high, but it is also a local family owned business that makes a lot of their food from scratch. I think is worth paying for the quality of the food. The man who owns it works very hard and is always there. I know his wife is a doctor and she comes in to make their delicious baklava. It is very sweet, but has a tremendous amount of spices in it like cinnamon and cardamom. It is definitely the spiciest baklava that I have tasted in OKC. I really like this place and think it is authentic. I prefer it over the more popular Greek restaurants in the metro.

Was expecting more. food was fresh and service was friendly. Have had way better Tadzhiki sauce. Lunch special was good-gyro meat was way tastier than the chicken. Noticed that the tilapia was $13.25! that's pricey when you think a filet of tilapia is like .90 at sams club

My favorite Mediterranean restaurant EVER!!!!!!! Delicious Tadzhiki sauce and non-greasy food. Excellent service, I eat here once a week usually :)

This place has pretty good food. I was impressed with the authenticity, and the taste. We were promptly greeted, and the staff was very friendly. The reason I am giving them 4 stars instead of 5 is because I feel like they are a bit over priced for what you get, and they close at an unusually early time. I would recommend this place for yummy food, but don't get there too late!

Changed my mind about Greek food. Been here about 4 times. Good stuff. The spicy shrimp is good. And the rice is really good. I've never been a big fan, so I don't know if it is authentic, but it is tasty.

Ordered the lunch special. It was great!! Gyro with a greek salad. Very flavorful and filling. Fresh ingredients abound. Go with the Hummus, very tasty! Pita bread that is so tasty and soft!! Like pillows!! Yum! Go try it for yourself. Atmosphere was good, it is in a strip center, so don't expect too much.

Stopped in for lunch...overall average. Not great, but not bad either. I had the lunch special--a gyro with a side and drink for $7.25. The gyro was fresh and hot, but fairly greasy. It could have used a bit more meat. The sauce was fine, a good flavor without being overwhelming. I choose fries for my side and they were crisp and fresh. A good, quick eat for a fair price.

I was really impressed with this restaurant. The food is a bit pricey (my bill is usually around $20-for lunch). But the food is quite good. From the dill rice, hummus, to the kabobs, and the rum balls it is always a treat to eat at this restaurant.

Tried this place out for lunch. At our table was some baba ghanoush, hummus, calamari, and a chicken pita (which comes with rice). It took about ten minutes for them to bring out the food. When the food arrived, it was very hot, so I guess it was made fresh; the food did taste fresh. The hummus had a bit too much tahini for my taste. My friends enjoyed the baba ghanoush, calamari, and hummus. Another review stated their pita bread was soft like pillows, and they're right. It was very good pita bread. The chicken kebab pita was very good. I think the rice was jasmine rice with some saffron. I forgot to take pictures, so I guess I'll have to go back.

Not as good as people talk. They do serve a good gyro, but I have tried many things on their menu and they are really just ok. I even asked for a reccomendation from the staff and ended up with a fried chicken meal that was mediocre at best. The place is dark and small and if it wasn't filled with pretty ladies all the time it would be horrible to eat at. Maybe next time I'll sit outside with a gyro and bring myself something decient to drink.

So nice to get some variety in South OKC. The food quality is good and the portions are large enough to split. Casual, clean environment. Location lacks pizzaz- in a strip mall though.
